Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life

Today with my Calculus teacher he showed me a band called Mutemath (ironic isnt it) the video I will show you will blow your mind. And the guys in there were three weeks learning their parts backwards.

Life is a festival only to the wise

I love color fighting, and I even know one band here in Venezuela who does that in their live concerts. And today traveling through internet I found and amazing fight coloring. So check this amazing video made for the Australian Music Festival Summadayze on August 15th.

I like to cook, walk on the beach, go to concerts and look at fine art.

Its been so long since I dont go to a concert. I believe the last concert I went was Aerosmith a year ago.
So im dying to see a few artists such as Florence + the machine, Foals (again), Daft Punk, Dave Matthew's Band, Death cab for cutie, Jonsi, Phoenix and a few more.

I think the key is for women not to set any limits

I don't know about you girls out there but Im all about Girl power. So when it comes to music combined to girl power one thing I like are The runaways (besides other girl bands of course).. I remember hearing them long before the movie came out. But I got to like a lot of the songs after the movie came out. I dont know why that always happens to me. I listen to a band I like but only 2 or 3 songs, then time passes by and after a couple of years I like almost all their song. I believe is because I wasn't in that kind of music at the moment. Bummer!

Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower

When someone talks to me about a good musician and innovative musician that breaks the limit of imagination and creativity I suddenly think of one guy. And that guy is Peter Gabriel. So here it is the phisical proof he was a genious when it came to breaking bounders.

I do not try to dance better than anyone else, I only try to dance better than myself

Talking about some movement. You perhaps dont really like Joy Division, but this dance by Ian Curtis (his lead singer) seriously left me with a face like WTF?
Is looks really fun thought. When I finally have my band complete I will totally dance a bit like Ian Curtis while performing

Art is man's expression of his joy in labor.

As music and art are always by their hands. Is not hard to expect to have both on the same page of art, or should I say music?
I want to show you this cute and funny drawings from a Russian graphic designer but all I could find was his web page nothing else. Cause I don't understand Russian. http://peopletoo.ru/

I think punk rock was a big middle finger to this whole talent thing.

What a better way to show rebellion than with punk. I don't know about you guys but lately I seem that everybody loves the prefabricated music. Is like where is all the noise and anger. Cause life is not all "fireworks".
Sure Im very into positive music that brings something and Im very into really good music. But punk expressed so much. Now I have to listen to jazz (which I love) or things like that to find really good musicians. I don't know if you understand what I mean or don't like it. But for me a lot of the music right now (not all of course) is bullshit. So here is an ode to punk.

As a rock star, I have two instincts, I want to have fun, and I want to change the world. I have a chance to do both

Rock & Roll is life. And one of my movies inspiration is Rock Star. Amazing outfits of Jennifer Aninston. Amazing voice. Great movie message.

Life is one grand, sweet song so start the music

Loooove music. Its such a passionate feeling when you find a tune you can relate to.
Well I found some time ago a really odd musician called Devendra Banhart. Well maybe he isnt as odd as Aaron and the Johnsons, or as Palomas Faith costumes. But he really amuses me. He makes me dance and meditate about the simple things in life. Oh and before I forget he lived in Venezuela just like I do. In other things I have no idea how to put a song in here but I will put some pictures and a link to his myspace page.

When I find out how to put music in a post I will with some other pictures of him.
Here is the link to his myspace.
